How do I create split ZIP files?

Below are step by step instructions for creating multipart ZIP archives using ezyZip.

  1. Select Files to Archive To add files to your ZIP archive, you have two options:
    Click "Select files to archive" to open the file chooser
  2. Choose Split Size
    Once you are happy with the files you have selected, click "Choose Split Size".
  3. Set Compression Level
    (Optional) Set the desired compression level by clicking the down arrow next to "Create Split ZIP Files" button.
  4. Create Split ZIP Files
    Set the maximum size of each ZIP split file. Click "Create Split ZIP Files". It will start compressing the files.
  5. Save Your Split Archive
    Click "Save" to save individual ZIP parts or click "Save all" to save all the ZIP parts to a destination folder.

  1. Click the Dropbox icon
    Click on the Dropbox logo () in the file selector button. Select from Dropbox
  2. Authorise and pick files
    The Dropbox file chooser will appear. You will need to authorise access to ezyZip the first time.
  3. Files appear in the listing
    Once you have selected the file(s), they will appear in the listing. Follow the instructions above to compress the files.
  4. Save back to Dropbox
    To save the resulting ZIP file to Dropbox, click on "Dropbox" dropdown under the "Save ZIP File" button. This will require authorisation the first time you run it.

    The file will be stored in /Apps/ezyZip folder.
