How to convert folder to SFX file?

Below are step by step instructions for converting a folder online using ezyZip.

  1. Select folder to convert
    Click "Select folder to convert" to bring up the folder chooser Convert Folder to SFX
  2. (Optional) Set compression level
    (Optional) Set the desired compression level by clicking the down arrow next to "Create SFX File". This will only work with archive formats that support compression.
  3. Create SFX archive
    Click "Create SFX File". It will start creating the SFX archive from your folder contents.

    Once all the files are processed, the "Save SFX File" button will appear.

  4. Save your archive
    Click "Save SFX File" to save the folder archive to your selected destination folder.

  2. Authorise and pick files
    The Dropbox file chooser will appear. You will need to authorise access to ezyZip the first time.
  3. Files appear in the listing
    Once you have selected the SFX file, it will download it to your browser and initiate the conversion.
  4. Save back to Dropbox
    To save the converted SFX file to Dropbox, click on "Dropbox" dropdown under the "Save SFX File" button. This will require authorisation the first time you run it.

    The file will be stored in /Apps/ezyZip folder.
