It depends on the password and your hardware. Common passwords are often found in seconds because the app tries the most likely candidates first. Long, random passwords can take much longer, and some may not be recoverable at all.

By default the app tries known and likely passwords, not every possible combination. If a password is unusual or very long, it may not appear in the lists. You can supply your own larger wordlist, or use mask and brute-force modes to widen the search.

The app runs offline once installed, so recovering a password does not need an internet connection. The one exception is the extended password list: downloading that larger list requires a connection the first time you use it. Internet is also used to download the app, verify your subscription, and check for updates.

ezyZip Password Recovery is included with an ezyZip Pro subscription, so using it requires an active subscription. After you subscribe, you download the app and verify it once with your email on first launch, then it is ready to use.

Once the app is installed, you can continue using that version indefinitely, even if your subscription expires. No features will be disabled or locked.
